You know, often I think we SEO folks get so tied up on links that we forget the fundamental concept behind good link building and simple rankings…

If your goal is to build an authority in your niche market, simply imagine what the top sites in your industry would look like from the outside looking in…

Imagine if you had the very best XYZ Industry Site… Who would link to it? Why? What other sites within your community would link to it?

I’m beginning to see that you can get hordes of traffic to sites as your building them up and designing simply by getting the right sites within the niche to link to you… I noticed with a few sites I’ve built up from scratch recently that what really drove their success was not the sheer volume of links, but the quality. I mean.. Yes everyone sings that song… But I mean more specifically… RELATED and TARGETTED sites… and it’s so easy to get those links in many cases….

Example… Lets pretend you designed the ultimate car transmission.

Shifted faster

Saved you gas

Made the car quicker

Lasted longer etc…

What kind of sites would link to your website about this performance gear?

High performance car sites?

Blogs about new and cool car parts?

Mechanics?

Distributors?

Any auto show you attended?

Consumer blogs?

Auto journalists?

Trade magazines?

Car Forums?

Obviously submitting to a pile of article sites wouldn’t help you!! It’s not natural! Duh! No gear head’s gonna do that!
See, the more natural your link profile and how much it fits to that particular niche, the better off you are.. and the silly thing is… the more out of your comfort zone you get, the more you pick up the phone and the harder you work at building your business the more these things happen on their own anyway.

Building a natural link profile is easier than spam!

Until Next Time

The power to drive thousands of sales to your website or business overnight!

Words control and shape our emotions,
our logical thinking and form the Basis for our decisions.
The power to persuade and build trust.

If your not familiar with article marketing online, then there’s a few reasons
why this post should grab you by the shirt collar and pull your face to the
screen.

Do you want to?
* Position yourself as the expert in your field?
* Generate new leads from new sources?
* Get new customers to your website?
* Create a raging wildfire of new links spreading
around the web causing #1 rankings on Google for your most competitive terms?
* Do you want to build a massive opt-in list of 2000+ devoted customers in
under a couple week’s time?

If these serve as goals to your business, but you haven’t considered article
marketing as a method of getting this… Your in for the treat of a lifetime.
My gift to you is a new understanding of this groundbreaking strategy.

Give great advice and be remembered forever!

Articles are not just a 6-8 paragraph thing that shows up on some silly
little article directory. Yes, article directories are a great place to start with
but they’re not the end goal. They’re the begining!

Once posted on an article directory, the copyright of an article exists to
let people copy them exactly as they are, and paste them onto their own
websites and blogs. Your article on their blogs, but wait a minute! Why
Would you want someone to do that?

Because, they’re also required to leave the resource box entact. That’s
The area where you can shamelessly promote yourself AND have an SEO
friendly link within it. 200 people share that article, 200 links. All from
one article it took you 20 minutes to write.

But I’ve TRIED articles, DAN! They don’t DO anything!
The BIG hidden secret the guru’s COUNT on you not knowing!

Three EXTREMELY important things that will position your article arsenal
Into a powerhouse of weaponry sure to take down the toughest competitors.

#1. Do your research

Go to article directories and look at the most popular articles, the ones that
Received the most traffic. Use the Google keyword tool and find the most
popular searches. Use Google trends to find out if the keyword is seasonal
or if it will drive business to you all year round!

#2. Plan your words carefully

The war on words requires good artillery. The old saying don’t bring a knife
to a gun fight never rang truer. These people have studied copywriting for
ten or twenty years or more. (I also recommend you do that if you plan on
doing everything yourself – or outsource a good copywriter).

Use words that provoke emotion and explain things thoroughly. Be
controversial, provocative and crazy. Do whatever it takes to make the
bland topics become exciting and wild.

Word Examples:

extremeist
scandal
controversy
myth
legend
HARDCORE
descriminate
darkness
paranoid
eyewitness
expose
disaster
protest
deny
confession
terrorist
earth shattering
stop…
incomplete
anxiety

See what I mean? Those words command attention. Remember though
an article is meant to be educational and useful at the same time.

#3. Include a call to action in your resource box. Leave them hanging
with something still on their minds that your website can solve.

"Once you get this problem solved, HALF the battle is won… See the
other half of the issues at my website"
"This is just the begining… A free resource is available on my website"
