Compare Search Engines – Google Vs Yahoo Rankings

The other day I was thinking about how I could better find “Hubs” of trust
and authority. So my dig began into more “competitive intelligence” tools.

I’m actually currently working on my own comp-intel tool but we won’t
go there yet. Everything on the market will seem like Rubix Cubes and
Etch a Sketches when I’m done.

Regardless… What if you could take the top 100 results in yahoo AND
the top 100 results in Google and compare the two?

Now You can with “yahoo vs google” tool created by Chris Langreiter.

Comparing 100 results of both engines and seeing where each display
things is very interesting.

It helps establish the “trusted” sites, it helps weed out those who have
done some poor linking (higher on yahoo & lower on Google) and vice
Versa. I think it even helps give you an idea of what term will be more
or less competitive in SEO too!
